Service Description

A slow-paced style of yoga that holds seated postures for longer periods of time. This class focuses on strengthening the tissues around the joints to build stability, mobility, focus and concentration. it is a very relaxing style of yoga that is often accompanied with a sound bath (sound healing). You can bring your own pillow, blanket or bolster to accompany your practice if you choose. Yogi Etiquette: -Arrive on time- this is a moving meditation. Doors are locked once class begins. -Turn your watch off- & don't check it during class. -Leave your phone outside the yoga room. -Wipe your sweat off the floor before you leave the room. If you have accomplished riversweat (yay!) please be sure to wipe up all the sweat off your mat before you pick it up off the floor- we have plenty of towels in the studio for you to use! -No ins and outs during class. Be sure to use the restroom, fill your water and prepare yourself for class before you enter the yoga room. If you need to leave the room during class for any reason, you will be asked not to re-enter. We have personal hot yoga rooms where you have full control of the heat and can leave the room as many times as you would like if you have a medical condition that prevents you from staying in the room for the entire class.
